Black Sabbath has partnered with Adidas to release exclusive shirts and shoes inspired by Birmingham’s Aston Villa football club.

This new collection includes shirts honoring singer Ozzy Osbourne and bassist Geezer Butler, which will make their on-field debut today (October 30). Limited to just 250 pieces, these shirts will soon be available for purchase on the club’s webshop.

Adidas has also introduced Predator boots inspired by the "Prince of Darkness," featuring Osbourne’s logo and the term “Preds Of Darkness” in the design. These boots, hand-painted by artist Jordan Dawson, are unique, one-of-a-kind items and will not be released for sale.

Dawson shared his excitement, saying, “Hand-painting this design onto one of Adidas’ most celebrated boots allowed me to merge fine artistry, sport, and the spirit of heavy metal music, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind custom piece. This collaboration brings together creativity and craftsmanship, offering a unique expression that stands out in both the world of sports and art.”

Reflecting on the collaboration, Osbourne remarked, “My absolute favourite colours in the world have always been purple and black. It’s been Black Sabbath colours for over 50 years. Tony [Iommi, guitars], Geezer, Bill [Ward, drums], and I look at this as a huge honour. Up the Villa!”

Earlier this summer, Osbourne and Butler were featured in a trailer for Aston Villa’s 2024 home kit reveal, set to the iconic Sabbath song “Paranoid.”
